Cantonment Public School and College Lalmonirhat has a rich library containing about three thousand books. Besides, syllabus books it has a large collection of books on Liberation wars, Science, Games & Sports, Religious books, Novels, General Knowledge, Fictions, Magazines, Journals, Daily Newspapers, History etc to enrich the knowledge of young learners. The library principally serves both staff and students in this institution. Students and Teachers can borrow books from the library using library cards.

A library is an inevitable part of an educational institution. To make it really meaningful you are requested to ensure fair usage for a clean, pleasant and safe environment for the library by maintaining the following:
- Enter the library noiselessly.
- Ensure your signature for arrivals and departures in the Ledger.
- Avoid bringing personal belongings except writing materials in the library.
- Books should be replaced on the shelves using the Book-code.
- Tearing of pages, writing or marking is strictly forbidden. Any sort of mutilation will cause replacement.
- Group discussion and other classroom or co-curricular activities are not permitted in the library.
- Disorderly conduct will render the reader liable to suspension from the library membership.
- Enter, leave and work quietly and use quiet inside voices.
- ID card is compulsory for all enrolled students for availing of library facilities.
- Use your own library card to receive only one book from the library for a certain period. And you must return the book timely or will be charged for overdue.
- Misuse of Identity Card is an offence and the student will be solely responsible for the same and is liable for disciplinary action.
- Use reserved seats for library work.
- Always try to be the best reader of the year organised by the authority.
