Brief History of the Institution

Cantonment Public School and College Lalmonirhat started its journey on 24 December in 2014 under direct supervision of Area Headquarters Rangpur in the premises of Military Farm Lalmonirhat. To spread the light of knowledge in this backward region. The foundation was laid by Major General Md Salahuddin Miaji, rcds, psc the then area commander of 66 Infantry Division, Rangpur. This institution was established to ensure quality education in this backward region. The main purpose behind the establishment of this institution was to meet the challenges of the future, building up confident and successful students by providing education, latest knowledge, information, communication skills and a vision with a blend of Bangladeshi cultural heritage. Discipline, Education and Morality are the prevailing mottos of this institution.

This institution started with 21 teachers and 04 third class and 07 fourth class employees with 07 class rooms up to class three. The institution had got affiliation from the Education Ministry on 15 June 2015. The EIIN number of the institution is 137653, School Code is 7296 and College Code is 7257.

By the grace of Almighty God, all the branches are progressing day by day in a full swing. The school and the college section have been successfully affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dinajpur.
